Hey friends, today’s card is a one layer card, meaning it is perfectly flat with only stamping going on. I used a technique called kissing to achieve the floral pattern on the butterfly’s wings. First I stamped the wings in Bermuda Bay ink, then I added some ink to a floral background stamp, and stamped the wings onto the background stamp to pick up some of the black ink. Then I stamped off on white card stock. It was a great way to mimic the background pattern of the card.
I made two of these cards in 10 minutes! If you want to take it a step further, a little glitter, pearls or rhinestones would dress it up nicely. I left mine flat so I can pop them in the mail.
Check out the video tutorial below to see how it was all made, the materials I used, and detailed instructions. Have a wonderful day!!
