Hey friends, thanks for taking a look at today’s card. I used Stampin’ Up’s Vivid Vases stamp. When you watch the video tutorial, you may notice that I cut the sentiment off the bottom of the flower vases. I wanted to be able to use this pretty image with other sentiments, so before I mounted it, I took a sharp and sturdy pair of scissors and cut it right off. Then I mounted the two pieces on different sides of the wood block. Doing this makes the stamp more versatile. I colored the flowers using Copic markers. The video tutorial will show you exactly how I colored them, and with which marker colors. I did use one marker of Stampin’ Up’s new Blendabilities. These are sold in sets of three shades of a color. I purchased the Old Olive collection and Wisteria Wonder collection. You’ll see me use those in the coming weeks. Which do I like more – Copics or Blendabilities? Not sure yet, I’ve just begun using the Blendabilities. I do love how the colors match the Stampin’ Up line of paper and ink, of course!
