Hey there, today is our oldest son’s 21st birthday! Happy Birthday Peter!! Today’s card has a technique I learned from Jennifer McGuire’s blog. Do you see the French script writing in the background? It’s easiest to see on the leaves. The first step was to stamp the background stamp on the white card stock using white craft ink. Once that was fully dry, I stamped the leaves right on top. As it dries, the white script words appeared from below, creating a very subtle resist. Any patterned background stamp would work for this technique. If you’re looking for a more bold resist, heat emboss either white or clear, and then stamp. This will show the pattern from below much better. Hope you enjoyed this one, and thanks for stopping by!
