Hi friends, today’s card took some trial and error and I’ll have to admit many scraps of paper ended up in the recycling bin. But in the end I think it is a cheerful card sure to brighten someone’s day. I ran into a problem with the stamping; the large solid flowers were stamping splotchy. I read in an online forum that stamping the stamp with VersaMark ink, then cleaning it off, helps with the ink sticking to the photopolymer. Sure enough, that helped a lot. Another tip is to stamp on a surface with a little give, like a mouse pad or the Stampin’ Pierce mat. Try these tips if you’re having trouble with your photopolymers giving you an even stamped image.
I’m a big fan of the Coastal Cabana/Bermuda Bay color combo, so here they are again in a floral design. I used the Flower Patch stamp set, and the Flower Fair framelits, to stamp and cut the flowers. This set has a couple sentiments included, but would also work great for Mother’s Day, Birthday, Get Well, etc. Take a look at the video tutorial to see how I made it. Thanks for stopping by!
