Here’s a birthday card using a color combo I don’t usually like, pink and orange. When color combinations are made however in the Designer Series Papers, they work! I love the Embellished events set, it is designed for bling. Rhinestones would work just as well as pearls. I inked up the cake with markers so I could do two colors, and just a little note about the cake stand. It has six dots on each side, but the rhinestones and pearls are a little bigger, so when I inked up the stamp, I just didn’t ink those dots at all. That way, there wasn’t any ink showing from behind when I stuck down the pearls. Also, for the sentiment, I played around with different inks, but finally decided to heat emboss in white.
