Hi friends! Today’s card is simple to put together, and striking with it’s bright colors and patterns. I used a few new items from the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog which was just released (happiness!!). First, the Designer Series Paper is called Confetti Celebration. I love the geometrics and bold colors in this collection. Next, I used a stamp set called Flower Patch. I love the photopolymer stamps for a number of reasons: they’re super sticky, you can see exactly where you’re stamping, and they are more affordable. This set is a great example of the value – 19 stamps for $25.95. Finally, I used a new color of ink – Blackberry Bliss. Where I live in the Pacific Northwest blackberries grow rampant, and each year I pick multiple flats of the free berries to make jam and pies. So naturally this rich purple color is one that I love already, I’m sure I’ll be reaching for it again and again. It is one of a set of five new in-colors; keep coming back as I create with the other new colors in the coming weeks. Thanks to the folks at Mojo Monday for the design challenge. While I missed the submission deadline, it was fun to make this card anyway. Take a look at the video tutorial below and thanks for stopping by!
