Stampin Up Christmas 2012 Series – Day 12, Christmas Tree Card

November 20, 2012 By Julia Carmichael 2 Comments

Hi Everyone!  It just doesn’t get easier than today’s card.  I took two strips of 3/4″ Designer Series Paper, tore it, and made a tree shape.  For the star, I took a scrap of Glimmer Paper I had left over from another project, drew a star on the backside, cut it out, and attached it with a small bit of Dimensional adhesive.  Stampin’ Up sells a mini shapes punch pack that has a star in it, but I don’t have that punch so I just free handed it. I decorated the tree with blops of Dazzling Details. The sentiment is heat embossed in white. From beginning to end, this card took me 8 minutes, gotta love that! Hope your holiday season is low stress so far.  Tomorrow I finish shopping and begin my meal prep for Thanksgiving on Thursday. Cooking for Thanksgiving is a multi-day event because I do as much ahead of time as possible. We’re having fourteen for dinner on Thursday. As my sister Suzy says, “It’ll be fun!”. See you tomorrow!
