Hi friends! Here’s a card using the Watercolor Winter set. This is a 2 step stamping set, so I first stamped the holly and poinsettia images using black StazOn ink. StazOn is a permanent ink perfect for those times you want to go over the image with your Aqua Painters. Next, I stamped over those images using color ink, Raspberry Ripple for the poinsettia, and Old Olive for the holly leaves. Then I filled in the holly berries using my Aqua Painter with a little Raspberry Ripple ink. Since my Raspberry Ripple ink pad is fairly new, it inks up the stamp a ton and makes a very dark image. To make it a bit softer, I stamped once on a piece of scrap paper, then immediately onto the card stock. This technique is called “stamping off” and is great for a softer look. Thanks to Shirley McKay for the layout idea. I’ll be back on Monday with the final week of the Christmas series!
