Hi there, here’s a great way to combine your love of handmade card goodness with the ever popular gift card. My good friend Michelle gave me the coffee gift card holder in the photo, and I made the snowflake version for each of Katrina’s teachers for Christmas. I’ll walk you through it step by step.
Open the strip back up, and put Sticky Strip down on one side of the inside as shown. Peel and adhere to the other side. This makes the center holder for the gift card. You need to use Sticky Strip because the gift card wants to force the two sides apart.
Now the fun part, stamping! Decorate the front of your gift card holder with whatever you have, I used snowflakes, but evergreen boughs, holly, trees, stars, etc. all work great. Add a decorative paper to the inside back cover if you wish, and a To/From on the inside front cover. There was plenty of room for Katrina to write her name, the name of her teacher, and a personal message too.
