I don’t know about you, but I am having fun with the new punches that Stampin’ Up has come out with recently, specifically the Mosaic Punch and this Hexagon Punch. This time I decided to wallpaper the card front with hexagons cut from the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper pack. I took a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ white card stock, and carefully covered it with hexagons. Yes, it took a little while, but I got faster as I went along. I was careful to cut certain designs so the patterns would line up vertically, such as the numbers and the little flowers. The polka dots were not cut as carefully and they’re a little off but not too distracting. I left one hexagon space blank for the sentiment, and dressed up one with a small heart coated in Crystal Effects. If I end up using this as a birthday card, I’ll stamp “Happy Birthday” on the inside of the card. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by!
