Hi there, here’s a card using a mask technique I described in this post last week. Briefly the way to do this is use four long sheets of sticky note paper, tearing the sticky edge and creating this rectangle shape. Stick it down to your card front and sponge ink onto the inside. I used Wisteria Wonder for the background color and Elegant Eggplant for the circle patterns and the word “celebrate”. Some of the circles in the center are lighter than others. I did this by “stamping off”, which is stamping once on a scrap piece of paper, then not reinking and stamping a second time on the card front. It’s a great way to create dimensionality and interest when using one color scheme like this card. Thanks to Michelle Nicholson for the design inspiration!
