Hey there, today I made a shaker card for Christmas using the new Frosted Sequins from the Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog, p. 22. I had never made a shaker card before, and found out “the hard way” that you don’t want to over-fill the shaker area, but other than that it went pretty smoothly. Watch the video tutorial below to see the steps. If you like to make shaker cards, Stampin’ Up carries a product called Shaker Frames, which are circles of various sizes cut from the same double sided foam from which the Stampin’ Dimensionals are made. This would be a really easy way to go, but my shaker shape is a star, so I had to be creative with the edge strips from my sheet of dimensionals.
If shaker cards aren’t your thing, here’s a variation. FYI, right now through December 2nd, the Stars Framelits Set is on sale for 20% off regular price, for $21.56.
