Hi guys! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a fun time with family and friends. At our house it was just four of us, and very quiet and restful. I made turkey and all the trimmings, but now I have TONS of leftovers! Ok, I don’t mean to scare you, but Christmas is just three and a half weeks away. Yikes! It’s time to start my shopping and preparing. I don’t do a lot of decorating in the house, just the tree and a wreath on the front door. What I do love to do however is baking yummy goodies for friends and family, and creating a few special one of a kind Christmas cards. I have already posted a few Christmas cards this season, and here’s another one. This card is super simple and a great way to use up scraps of paper. Basically, take what decorative papers you have on hand, cut strips of different widths, and mount the strips on a rectangle of paper that measures 2″ X 5 1/2″. Decorate with the “Merry” Thinlits cut out, and ribbon, button, stamping, etc. I left mine flat because I want to drop it in the mail, but it would be great with a bow or button on the front.
If you like what you see in my blog, and you want to make your own beautiful handcrafted cards, won’t you please consider purchasing your supplies from me?
