Hey there, today’s card design is cased from one I saw online by Joy Taylor. Thanks, Joy! I love when I am able to break out the Copic markers and do some custom coloring. Recently, Stampin’ Up discontinued their line of alcohol based ink markers called Blendabilities. Copics are also alcohol based, and while I am no expert at coloring with Copics, I have learned a couple things over time. First, the alcohol based ink does not shred your card stock no matter how much ink you put down. Second, the alcohol saturates the paper, causing the colors to blend really nicely together.
Since Mother’s Day is a week away, I thought I’d make a simple but feminine card for my mom and mother-in-law. This design however lends itself to any occasion, just swap out the colors and the focal image. Watch the video below to see how it went together.
