Hi everyone, today’s card uses the negative space created when I cut these shapes from the card stock. I took three striking geometric papers and cut them into small shapes, and arranged them on the red card so that they would peek out of the cut outs. For the paper piercing, I was able to use the piercing guide for one of the ornaments, but the other two are done free hand. Since the framelits left behind a little border edge, this helped with the piercing. All I had to do was stay in the lines and try to get them evenly spaced apart. If you look closely you can definitely see that I was a little off with my spacing, but overall it came out ok. Handmade, right? To finish it up, I popped the whole thing up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. The paper pack that I got the patterned papers from has lots of sheets of each design so it works well for using for your mass produced cards. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’re having a great day and that you’re getting into the holiday mood!
