Hey there! Getting Katrina ready for school has been taking a lot of my time lately. She starts in a few days, so we’ve been getting all the school supplies and outfits ready, and I’m excited for her to be back in her school routine so I can begin my fall routine as well! I think you’re going to love this new Thinlits set from Stampin’ Up, called Expressions. The set comes with three words in a cute cursive script; love, merry, and thankful. See the photo at the bottom of this post for what the dies look like. There are two tips that will help a lot when using these super fine die cut images. First, the die will release the cut paper SO much easier if you put a layer of waxed paper between the card stock and the die.
Then once the image is cut out, take a very sharp tool, such as the Paper-Piercing Tool, to push through the little holes on the backside. This will make the word pop easily out of the die.
Finally, peel the waxed paper off the word, and you’re ready to add it to your project.
Use Tombow Mono Multi Glue for attaching these words, a super thin line along the back, or little dots here and there are all it takes. This card could be for Valentine’s Day, a birthday, or any occasion for someone you love. The brown color scheme makes it suitable for anyone, man or woman. I hope you enjoyed this one, and thanks for stopping by!
