Hi friends, today’s card is inspired by a clematis vine which is climbing over our name sign at the head of our driveway. This past fall, I decided not to cut it back, and I just left the brown dead-looking vine alone all winter. Much to my surprise it sprouted new growth from those ugly vines, and now it’s a gorgeous blooming thing much earlier than in previous years. Here’s a photo.
The layout is a variation of a card I made in this post. I used the Summer Silhouettes stamp set which is such a beautiful and versatile set. I can’t count the number of times I’ve used it, for any occasion in spring and summer. I don’t think I will ever tire of it. Check out the video tutorial below to see how it went together.
