Hey friends! I think I can safely say that Summer Silhouettes is in my top three most favorite sets that Stampin’ Up carries. I loved it from the moment I saw it in last year’s catalog, and I still love it. I find myself reaching for it again and again. This card was inspired by one I saw online a few days ago but now cannot find it again to give credit. Sorry about that. I used only two stamps from Summer Silhouettes, but four different ink colors to achieve this wallpaper-y look. The blues and greens make me think – beach! I hope summer’s hot weather starts soon so we can go swimming. Here in the Pacific Northwest, that usually doesn’t happen until after July 4th, but who knows, it could happen! The sentiment stamp comes from a set of 12 sentiments called fittingly “A Dozen Thoughts”. Check it out below, it’s full of sayings for all kinds of occasions in lots of fun fonts. All three panels are 3 3/4″ wide. The top panel is 2″ tall, the middle panel is 3/4″ tall, and the bottom panel is 1″ tall. When stamping, make sure you stamp your flowers off the edge of the panels to give a more visually interesting look. Hope you enjoy – leave me a comment!
