Hey there! Today’s post has two cards I’ve created for Valentine’s Day using some cute images from two different sets Stampin’ Up has recently come out with. First, I admit the random rainbow hearts card uses a ridiculous number of ink pads, but the same effect could be achieved using just a few, and repeating them. For instance, two rows red, then three yellow, two green, and four blue.
*Update, March 2014* – As I was cruising around the internet, I came upon this post which highlighted a card made by Patti Carbonell, inspired by my card above. I was so tickled to see it there! That is why I do what I do, to inspire others to create their own masterpieces.
The second card was made using the same heart border stamp from the Language of Love stamp, then in the center I stamped the globe image from the Love You More set. The way I stamped this was coloring the globe with a green marker, the stand with a brown marker, and the words with a dark reddish pink marker. Then to help the colors pop a little, I went over the globe with Copic markers.
