Hi there everyone! I had a busy week with three people I know having birthdays. When I went to my card drawer I was pitifully short on birthday cards so I’m going to spend some time building back up my stash. Here’s one I put together, inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest by Eileen (no last name). I love simple cards, clean lines, and beautiful color combinations. Pool Party and Soft Suede go great together and can be given to a man or woman. I’m thinking of this for my mother who lives by the seashore and sees little birds like this on a daily basis. Sandpipers, I believe they are called. To make the three scoring lines, I just freehanded them using my scoring board. A few little pencil lines on the top and side of the card stock helped me place them where I wanted them. The Happy Birthday words are two separate stamps from the Memorable Moments set. In order to get them placed straight to one another, I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig. This is an invaluable tool for proper placement of your images. Each center image square is 1″ and the underlying square is 1 1/4″. I hope you enjoy this one. Have a wonderful day!
