Hey everyone! I’ve been playing around with alcohol inks for a while now, I don’t seem to be getting tired of them. Here’s a card I made using teal blues, silver, and purple. I got the design inspiration from Cas(e) this Sketch, this is a fun way to get ideas and participate in some creative crafting competition.
To make the alcohol ink circle, I inked up some Yupo paper using Ranger alcohol inks, moved them around with a paintbrush and blowing through a straw, and let it dry very well. Then I cut it out using a circle framelit, which is a wafer thin steel die, and I cut out the sentiment using a wafer thin die from Simon Says Stamp. I used a scrap of patterned paper for the left edge of the card front, and Bermuda Bay for the card base. Take a look at the video below. I give much more information about how I made it and materials used in the video.
Have a wonderful day and happy crafting!
A wonderful take on the sketch and I loved seeing your creative process!
